Kayla Howell is one of the main characters of the Animal Spirits Saga. She is 16 years old. After touching the Cursed Necklace, she finds herself able to transform into a wolf. She is Liz's best friend and is the second-in command of the Animal Spirits.
Early Life[]
Kayla never knew her father, Carl. According to her mother, he had left them just a week after she was born. Kayla never cared afterward about what had happened to him. Liz lived next door and she and Kayla had been best friends for as long as they could remember. Years passed, and Kayla met and befriended many people, one of them being Jason, who was the nicest person towards her besides Liz.

The creator of the saga, came up with the idea as he was falling alseep.
Initially, Mikel was going to be the only villain.
The animals in the saga are inspired by the creator's love of animals.
Many of the locations are based on places that the creator has been to or has seen.
